It feels like everything I gave been working to build for the last half a decade has just come plummeting down onto the free edge of my feet. My Achilles, shattered, shins distended and my knee caps quake with a shivering ring of pressure— I feel as though the lower half of me has been obliterated into shards of unrecognizable dust.
